The three systems most Ottawa businesses need

Almost everything we install for a commercial client falls into one of three categories, and they are designed to work together. Restaurants, bars and hospitality

Sound zoning is the whole game: the bar wants energy, the dining room wants conversation, the patio needs weatherproof speakers that can be heard over Elgin Street traffic. Add TVs positioned for the sight lines from every seat and a camera system that covers the entrances, the till and the back door. Retail stores

Retail security is about coverage of the sales floor, the stockroom and the point of sale, with footage that is actually usable when you need to review an incident. Background music and in-store paging keep the space feeling alive and let staff communicate without shouting across the floor. Offices, boardrooms and law firms

A boardroom that works is one where the remote participants can hear everyone at the table and the presenter can share a screen in ten seconds without calling IT. We install ceiling microphones, cameras that frame the room, displays sized for the seating distance, and control that anyone can operate. Warehouses, manufacturing and industrial

Large, loud, and often open around the clock. Paging systems need horn speakers and amplification that carry over machinery; camera systems need wide coverage of docks, yards and racking, with enough resolution to read a licence plate at the gate. We run everything on PoE so there is one cable per device and no wall-wart power supplies to fail. Car dealerships and showrooms

Venues need flexible systems — a wedding on Saturday, a corporate presentation on Tuesday — with wireless microphones, projection or LED, and audio that can be dialled in by the venue manager rather than a hired technician.
